The Organization for Habitation and Resources Development (OHRD) is a Non-Governmental, Humanitarian, Non-Profit Making, Service Oriented Organization which was established in January 2002.
To provide Holistic Care to the Affected Persons of the Target Groups by Armed Conflict and Natural Disaster in the Operational Areas Irrespective of their Ethnicity, Religion and Political Ideology.
To Enhance the Quality of Life of the target groups in Whole Island of Sri Lanka
Undertaking programmes based on harnessing the potential of the People by empowering them through social mobility
The OHRD has very much concentrated its activities for the resettling of the displaced families who were up-rooted due to the civil war in the country from their places of origin in the Northern and Eastern Pr ovinces of Sri Lanka.

The OHRD is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit making organization involved in many projects of housing, building medical clinics, school, community centers from its inception in 2012 and also involved in many humanitarian projects like dry ration distribution.
